Accounting and Financial Analysis at BLC is a rather broad subject which requires the student to be know several different methods and approaches. Many students receive a poor grade due to lack of practice and experience in using these methods at practical problems. This is exactly the focus of this course. The intensive course is based on your specific syllabus and all assignments (prepared by Aspiri ) are made on the basis of earlier exams which will provide you with the optimal exam preparation.

• Double-entry bookkeeping (T-accounts and journal entries)

• Income measurement & Accrual accounting

• Statement of Cash Flows

• Assets and depreciation methods

• Accounts Receivable & bad debt

• Inventories & costing methods (COGS).

• Stockholders' Equity & dividends  

At the Aspiri course we will systematize your syllabus and cover both the basics and the more advanced parts of the syllabus. In addition to this you will be given pointers and tips for the examination. This introductory course is designed to give a solid introduction to selected fundamentals of financial accounting. Apart from an introduction to theory, the emphasis will be on practical application by solving exercises. Gaining a strong understanding of the fundamentals  will prove valuable as you proceed with your studies of other financial accounting topics and ultimately can help you achieve an optimal result at the exam.

The focus will be on both speed and accuracy in solving exercises and we will make extensive use of Excel. It is therefore highly recommended to bring a working laptop with Excel installed.

The course takes place by physical attendance at our course facilities in large bright rooms with plenty of space and automatic/mechanical air change. The number of hours stated on our website constitutes the total length of the course.
